NH Hotel Group has announced
plans to open its first properties in the Middle East and Denmark. The
openings will bring the number of new hotels in the group during opening in 2021
to 12.
The Vyra Suites NH Collection
Doha hotel, located in the capital of Qatar, will open its doors during the
last quarter of 2021 with 228 serviced apartments, marking the brand’s first
footsteps in Middle East. By the end of the year, the group will also open the NH
Dubai The Palm, a 14-storey property with 227 rooms and 306 serviced apartments.
Italy is the focus of much of
the group’s 2021 growth.
Earlier this year, the group
opened the 86-room NH Collection Firenze Palazzo Gaddi in Florence, the 70-room
NH Collection Palazzo Verona, the 100-room NH Venezia Santa Lucia hotel and the
NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi, one of the high-end hotels
from the former Boscolo portfolio, with a secret garden and 64 rooms. A boutique property, NH Collection Venezia
Murano Villa, is due to open this month on one of Venice's most famous islands.
In May, the company opened the
doors of the renovated 288-room NH Collection New York Madison Avenue in the
heart of Manhattan. The group also opened the 152-room NH Collection Prague
Carlo IV in Czechia and the NH Hannover in Germany.
The group is also planning to open
a 394-room hotel - the NH Collection Copenhagen hotel (pictured top) – its first property in
Denmark and the Nordics as well as the nhow Brussels Bloom in the Belgian capital.
