ME by Meli” has opened its first hotel in Madrid”The Madrid Reina Victoria. ME by Meli” is the new luxury brand from hotel chain Sol Meli”. The hotel group is better known for its package holiday resorts and villas, but the new brand aims to satisfy the needs of business travellers by providing a quality service in what it calls ”experience-based personality hotels.”
The ME Madrid Reina Victoria is situated in Madrid”s Plaza de Santa Ana. It opened its doors yesterday, having undergone extensive refurbishment to modernise the hotel facilities.
The rooms are now equipped with a home theatre entertainment centre featuring plasma screen, CD/DVD, surround sound, WiFi internet access, and iPod adaptors and docks. If you don”t have an iPod, you can even borrow one from the hotel with 900 pre-set songs.
Two other ME by Meli” hotels, the Meli” Cabo, San Lucas, Mexico and the Meli” Turquesa Cancun, are due to open later this year.
