Accor Hotels is set to launch a new payment solution for corporates on March 1.
The Accor Hospitality Business Account will be free for business users, and the account card can be used at more than 130 Accor hotels and restaurants in the UK.
Jonathan Pettifer, director of regional sales UK and Ireland, said: "You can use it for a meal, a hotel room, or just a cup of coffee."
Accor is likely to extend the offering to meetings and events next year, said Pettifer.
The account can be held by an individual or a company. It can be managed online and users can access management information and VAT analysis.
"It's a one-credit application to the whole of the UK network, which you can use at every Accor location - from the budget and economy segment right though to 5 star deluxe.
"The key benefit is control - people can really see what is being spent, plus all of the spend is consolidated into one monthly statement, broken down per traveller."
For the individual traveller, the main benefit is personal cash flow, said Pettifer. "It means individuals don't have to process work payments with their personal finances."
Sofitel St James London, Mercure Edinburgh Point, Mercure George Reading, Mercure Newcastle George Washington and Ibis London Earls Court hotels are currently not part of the Accor Hospitality Business Account, but may be included by March 1.
