TMC network Advantage Travel Partnership has introduced the AI Hub to help its members “adopt and embed” artificial intelligence.
The UK-based consortium said the initiative was launched following feedback from members seeking clearer guidance on how to maximise the use of AI within their businesses.
The AI Hub offers practical advice, resources and support around AI implementation. In its initial phase, it will provide AI prompting assistance, guidelines for safe usage and best practices, and use-case guides covering “core areas” of managed travel operations, according to Advantage.
Moving forward, the consortium will incorporate additional guidelines, supplier perspectives and member case studies. It will also continue to work with selected technology and AI partners to provide members with access to tools and ongoing advice.
Paul Nunn, chief operating officer at Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “AI is moving incredibly quickly, and we were very conscious that creating a single Advantage AI tool was not necessarily the best way to support members over the long term. A tool can date quickly. What members need is confidence, guidance and practical support that can evolve as the technology evolves.
“The AI Hub is about helping members understand how to embed AI safely and effectively into their own businesses, rather than asking them to adopt one fixed solution. It gives them a clear framework they can use with confidence, whatever stage they are at,” Nunn said.
