INCIDENTALLY: Satellite Connection
Two TV antennae meet on a roof, fall in love and get married. The
ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.
A lady arrives at Jersey Airport to welcome a preview flight by
Atlantic Express of their new twice-daily service between the island
and Stansted. ”This is novel,” she says, ”An aircraft with all the
windows filled in. It could be an exciting day!”
The explanation is simple. Based at Jersey on a postal contract is an
Atlantic Airlines ATPF (ATP freighter). No windows. What she was
expecting to see was an Atlantic Express ATP 50-seat passenger
aircraft, lots of windows! It was parked elsewhere. She is not going
to be the last to be confused.
