ATP International has bought the French conference and event agency Martine Thiebault Valette (MTV).
The purchase comes after the two companies had worked together for many years.
MTV, founded 15 years ago, is the market leader in conferences for the pharmaceutical industry in France and has a workforce of 40 people and annual sales of €15m.
ATP International is one of the largest travel management companies in Europe, with offices in UK, Netherlands, Belgium as well as the USA.
Graham Ramsey, ATP's ceo, said: “There are clearly great synergies between the companies, not only in business travel but also in the conference business.
“ATP has shown its strength in the UK by the recent third consecutive years appointment for the ABTA Convention, and in Holland organising the Congress of International Environment Council as well as the Global conference of ABN AMRO in 12 locations.
“Both companies have also had the vision to develop proprietary software to help them succeed in their marketplaces.”
