Wyboston Lakes Resort has turned to virtual reality (VR) technology to show event planners realistic visions of how their function could look at the venue.
The resort’s VR specialists have created diverse event scenarios, including theatre style, half-moons, conferences, gala dinners and weddings, and can also work on bespoke layouts according to client specifications. This is all done using just pictures of a chair, a table set-up, an empty room and alterations in lighting.
Wyboston Lakes says the technology saves time and costs by eliminating the need to set up rooms for site visits, which are often difficult to arrange around on-site events and business meetings.
