Trip.Biz has launched a set of four connected AI agents to assist with trip planning, booking, approval and reporting, the travel management company announced.
The four agents are part of Trip.Biz's newly launched AI offering Agent One, which the company – the Singapore-based full-service TMC powered by online travel agency Trip.com – said is focusing in particular on improving adoption.
The aim is to make "the experience more intuitive, more personalised and easier to use," according to the company.
Among the agents is a planning agent that can respond to natural-language requests with recommendations informed by traveller preferences, trip purpose and company policies. That is accompanied by a booking agent that provides conversationally guided booking rather than the typical TMC booking flow, which Trip.Biz said cuts the average booking time from 45 minutes to two minutes.
Agent One also includes an approval agent that automatically approves "low-risk" trips, with other trips sent on for human review. The agent cuts most approval times from an hour to just a matter of seconds, according to Trip.Biz.
In addition, the insight agent identifies data patterns and cost-saving opportunities via travel analysis reports, as opposed to static dashboards, the company said.
