Expense management firm Traveldoo has expanded its UK sales team in a bid to reach a “wider business travel audience”.
UK head of sales Gary Povey now heads up a team of six sales staff, who work across field sales, channel partners and business development.
The bolstering of the UK team comes following the appointment of Stephane Donders as CEO of Paris-based Traveldoo. Donders said: “The new team will further strengthen our UK representation enabling us to focus on selling our suite of end-to-end travel and expense management solutions to a wider business travel audience. We have ambitious plans for the UK market.”Traveldoo is unveiling two new developments during the Business Travel Show in London today, including the launch of its trip itinerary mobile app for Android devices – previously the app has only been available on Apple mobile platforms.The company has also introduced a new trip information-sharing feature, which is designed to make it easier to take part in carpooling and taxi sharing among employees.Donders added: “Sustainable travel is high on the agenda for most corporates and the new trip information-sharing feature is one way where corporates and business travellers alike, can help promote the benefits of eco-friendly travel.”
