Thetrainline.com has rebranded the company to Trainline.
The rail booking operator said the change in brand is to reflect the “continued growth of mobile sales”, which have grown more than 100 per cent year-on-year.
Trainline’s CEO Clare Gilmartin said the company’s aim is to help people “travel smarter” by using mobile ticketing services.
As the market leader Trainline’s mission is to help people travel smarter, saving money by buying tickets in advance and ensuring they receive real time travel updates. Increasingly, customers are adopting mobile solutions and mobile tickets with Trainline at the forefront of this transformation.
“It naturally followed that we change our brand look and feel to meet our customers’ expectations,” said Gilmartin. [The name change] represents a host of new features that’ll make train travel even smarter for our customers.”
