Travel technology firm Sabre has signed a multi-year deal with All Nippon Airways (ANA).
Under the agreement, Sabre and the Japanese carrier plan to work together to make ANA’s range of content in fares, schedules and inventory available in the Sabre GDS to all of its subscribers.
ANA’s vice president, Kikuo Watanabe, called the deal “important and necessary”.
“Our partnership with Sabre means we will have an effective channel of distribution globally and be able to maximise Sabre’s reach to deliver marketing messages as well,” he said.
Sabre’s vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific, Said Hans Belle, said: “Our goal is to give airline partners new and innovative ways to reach out to their customers through the Sabre travel marketplace and that includes the strong partnership with Abacus, the largest GDS in Asia.”
