Corporate travel technology platform Rocketrip has announced a new duty of care integration with medical and travel security risk services company International SOS.
Rocketrip says the integration will give employers tools to maintain duty of care obligations when employees stay with friends and family in lieu of a hotel, assisting them in ensuring travellers are safe while travelling for work. The company adds that the framework used will allow Rocketrip to extend the capability to other duty of care providers in the future.
Tim Daniel, senior advisor for innovation and business strategy at International SOS, said: “As business travel evolves, it’s important for International SOS to continuously innovate, and our integration with Rocketrip is a prime example of how we’re accomplishing that.”
Dan Ruch, CEO of Rocketrip, added: “Developing our duty of care integration was a direct response to growing demand from our enterprise customers, especially those with policies that allow employees to stay with a friend instead of at a hotel.”
