Workspace provider Regus is looking to attract the UK’s road warriors by opening business centres in motorway service stations in the south of England.
Centres are set to open in September at service stations at Beaconsfield (Junction 2 of the M40), Cambridge (on the A14/M11) and Cobham in Surrey (between Junction 9 and 10 of the M25).
Walk-in facilities will include access to business lounges and meeting rooms, and services including printing, copying and secure wifi internet access.
Regus’ CEO Mark Dixon said: “This is yet another step in the global trend towards flexible working and the expansion of our growing Third Place business as more workers demand access to workspace outside the office and the home, as they seek to utilise the flexibility offered by mobile, tablet and cloud technologies.”
Earlier this year Regus announced plans to open business lounges at European Shell petrol stations and railway stations operated by French national rail company SNCF.
