Travel management firm Redfern has secured its place as a supplier on a key government travel procurement platform.
The company, which was purchased by the CTM Group last year, has been reappointed as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s “remodelled” G-Cloud 9 digital marketplace platform.
This means that public sector workers will have access to Redfern’s online travel booking tool Trips through the latest version of G-Cloud 9, which is designed to allow public sector organisations to buy services without having to run full tender or procurement processes.
Kate Wimpeney, chief operating officer at Redfern, said: “We’re proud to be reappointed to the G-Cloud procurement framework.
“This will increase Redfern’s presence within the public sector and will give organisations the benefit of our Trips booking tool designed to make booking business travel as smooth as possible, without having to go through onerous procurement processes.
“We’re committed to helping our customers drive down the cost of business travel and to make the process as hassle-free as possible. Admission on to the G-Cloud framework will allow us to continue to do this for the public sector.”
