Key Travel has partnered with technology firm Amadeus to launch its new mobile app to UK, US and European markets.
The travel management company said the app enables travellers to retrieve and manage trip details all in one place.
The app is available for download via the online Apple and Google stores, and a web version is also available for Windows devices and desktops.
Key Travel’s group marketing director, John O’Sullivan, said: “Each year we survey travellers to discover how their needs are changing and to ensure our services are evolving in line with customer expectations.
“Our research shows the top 10 flight destinations in 2014 for our specialist clients included Accra, Addis Ababa, Dhaka and Entebbe. Infrastructure varies city by city of course, but NGO workers often don’t have the fall-back of being able to rely on local business services, which is why they need to be empowered with mobile applications such as the new Key Travel Mobile App.”
Key Travel partnered with Amadeus to launch travel appO’Sullivan said Key Travel’s own research showed the most valuable information travellers want on their mobile device is travel disruption alerts (44%) and itinerary management (35%).
“We’re confident that this new mobile app will provide much-needed peace of mind for travel bookers and the travellers they serve, wherever they may be in the world,” he added.
Key Travel, which was named in BBT’s 2014 Top 50 TMCs, specialises in offering travel services to the humanitarian, faith and education sectors.
