Swiss firm Interprefy has launched Webmeet, a scalable platform that simultaneously interprets for virtual and multi-hub meetings.
Webmeet facilitates remote simultaneous interpreting for multi-hub and virtual meetings, enabling participants to listen and engage in the language of their choice. Users can run meetings in as many locations and with as many presenters as needed, with no limited to the number of languages that can be offered.
Interprefy works with language service providers and can source interpreters with expertise in a particular industry or area at short notice.
Meeting participants are muted when they are not speaking and will hear their interpreter’s voice in the foreground with the speaker faintly in the background.
Andrey Schukin, chief technology officer at Interprefy, said: “Interprefy Webmeet is ideal for any organisation that runs meetings between different regions. Our early users have included teams within corporates and international organisations, who have found Webmeet useful for providing multi-hub presentations, group discussions and negotiations.”
