Corporate hotel portal HRS has signed a distribution deal with Sabre’s online booking specialist Get There.
The agreement means that 250,000 hotels affiliated to HRS will be made available to Get There’s corporate clients by the end of this month, regardless of which GDS they use.
HRS’s CEO Tobias Ragge said: “Working with Get There complements our systematic multi-channel strategy and will mean all Get There corporate customers can benefit from our wide hotel portfolio instantly.
“From the hotel’s perspective, the connection to Get There, will allow yet another global distribution channel with extended coverage particularly in the huge US market.”
Get There’s reservations system is used by around five million unique users per month across the world and it managed more than $9.5 billion in business travel spend last year.
Suzanne Neufang, president of Get There, said: "HRS has such a vast and unique range of hotels which we know will be of great value to our customers.
“We look forward to working with HRS to bring the best selection of hotels to corporations worldwide.”
