2014 appears to be the year of the mobile at the Business Travel Show, with no less than seven exhibitors launching new mobile products.
ATPI, DataFlexNet, Gray Dawes and One Transport are all launching new mobile apps. DataFlexNet’s is the Rail Companion App, Gray Dawes’ is the Itinerary App that enables travellers to keep up to date with their travel arrangements on the go, and One Transport has a new mobile booking app.
ATPI is launching the new and improved version of its On The Go mobile app including a host of new features such as automatic retrieval of travel schedules and seamless integration with the clients’ own personal calendars, a sophisticated mobile database that automatically loads itinerary details for all bookings, plus alerts and real-time updates about flight schedules relating to travellers’ specific itineraries and detailed local weather information.
In addition, Chambers Travel Management is launching myCT, a new web mobile portal which provides a fast, convenient gateway to the company’s bespoke technology tools for business travellers and bookers. myCT brings together all stages of the travel process in one personalised platform and can be used on the widest range of devices whether smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC. And Comfortway is launching the ComfortWay device, which helps to save hundreds of Euros on roaming data and provides dozens of useful services for business travellers.
