Travel technology firm Sabre has signed an agreement with airline Germania to market the carrier's products and services on its GDS system.
The deal means Sabre-connected agencies will get guaranteed access to the German airline’s seats and fare classes.
The Sabre travel marketplace enables travel agents worldwide to make, manage and fulfill travel itineraries that include Germania bookings.
Germania’s COO Oliver Pawel, said: “The agreement with Sabre, and the global reach it provides, will further propel the distribution of Germania seats and flights on a global scale.
“The agreement allows us to generate additional revenue and to operate our connections even more efficient.”
Harald Eisenaecher, senior vice president for Sabre Travel Network, EMEA said: “Germania’s importance among single-seat sales to selected destinations in EMEA and its charter flights for tour operators to popular holiday destinations in Europe has been growing in recent years.
“Sabre aims to play a pivotal role in the airline’s future by making its fares and schedules available to our global travel agency community.”
