Former chief executive of Star Alliance has joined transport technology firm Cartrawler.
Mark Schwab served as CEO of the alliance from 2012 to 2016. Before joining he held many positions within the airline industry; most recently he was responsible for alliance activities at United, where he was senior VP Alliances.
In this role he also served on the management board of the Star Alliance organisation. Previously, he held management positions at United, US Airways and American Airlines.
Speaking in Dublin, Mike McGearty, Car Trawler CEO, said: “Mark’s appointment to Car Trawler brings an abundance of experience that will prove invaluable to our future expansion.
