Easyjet passengers will now be able to use personal electronic devices throughout the whole flight including take-off and landing.
The airline confirmed items such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones can now be used at all times during the flight as long as the device is in ‘flight mode’.
The changes come after recent recommendations from the European Aviation Safety Agency for these restrictions to be relaxed.
Easyjet's group commercial director, said: "We know that portable devices are an important part of our customers' journey with us so we are pleased they can now use their electronic devices onboard in 'Flight mode' for the duration of their flight with us – we think this will be a popular change."
Earlier this year Easyjet introduced the use of mobile boarding passes across 85% of its network.
