Chambers Travel, Portman Travel and Business Travel Direct have become the first UK-based TMCs to become preferred partners with Concur.
Expense management firm Concur launched a preferred partner programme in the US last year which now includes 23 TMCs.
As part of the deal, the three UK-based TMCs will offer Concur’s Triplink software which captures and centralises expenses data from flights, hotels and ground transport.
Chambers has also been announced as the first European partner for the Concur programme.
Chris Thelen, CEO of Chambers Travel Group, said: “It means we can offer our customers a wider portfolio of services giving us a competitive edge.
“Chambers has been accepted into the programme at a time when our customers are expecting more and they feel pressure to cater to employee demand.”
Isabel Montesdeoca, Concur’s UK general manager, added: “Chambers shares Concur’s vision for the future of smart business travel and how digitalisation can perfect the business travel experience.
“A large number of businesses and employees have advanced technological capabilities in other aspects of their lives and they’ll come to expect it from business travel management as well.”
