Cathay Pacific has announced it will implement Amadeus Altea NDC, which will allow the airline to distribute and service new content and fares through an NDC connectivity across channels.
Amadeus Altea NDC is an offer and order management solution based on end-to-end NDC shopping, booking and servicing flows. The solution allows airlines to distribute and service their offers through third parties, offering a similar experience across direct and indirect channels.
Cathay Pacific has been part of the Amadeus NDC-X programme since 2018. By implementing Altea NDC, the airline will be able to integrate its NDC content with the Amadeus Travel Platform.
The technology provider says the Amadeus Travel Platform is evolving to integrate and consume airline NDC content in a standard way across all of its selling interfaces with a view to increasing such content’s reach and encouraging its adoption and conversion from travel sellers such as TMCs.
