Carlson Wagonlit Travel has expanded the number of devices that can use its CWT To Go app for travellers.
The app, which supplies information to travellers while on their business trips, has been made available on Windows-based devices, Android smartphones and Amazon’s Kindle Fire. It had previously been available on Apple devices and Blackberrys.
CWT said that 2.5 million trips had been uploaded through the app in the last year since it was moved on to sister company Worldmate’s platform in May 2013.
David Moran, CWT’s executive vice president, said that the TMC had continued to add more functions to CWT To Go and also plans to include hotel, air and ground booking capabilities.
“We are moving ahead with our ambition to continue to be the premier business travel app on the market,” added Moran.
CWT To Go is only available to the TMC’s clients and travellers can add non-CWT itineraries to the app manually or via email.
