Carlson Wagonlit Travel is building a tool designed specifically for the energy, resources and marine industry.
CWT’s specialist energy division is working with logistics software provider IBS to create a “one-stop solution” designed for companies of any size to help with issues such as crew rotation.
The TMC said the new tool removes much of the complication of managing all the elements, including charter aircraft, helicopters, ground transportation and remote accommodation.
CWT Energy, Resources and Marine senior VP and global head Monisa Cline, said: “This new solution will be available globally and integrates with CWT To Go, our best-in-market mobile technology.
“Many clients in this space still manage some aspects of crew rotation manually. However, this new offering provides clients with a much more efficient complete one-stop- solution.”
CWT was named number one TMC in BBT’s 2015 Top 50 UK TMCs.
