Tripbam has signed a long-term deal with BCD Travel to provide the TMC’s clients with products it claims will “improve corporate hotel programmes”.
BCD Travel said it’s making Tripbam available to clients to “drive savings” and improve traveller confidence in the rates they access through their company’s hotel programme and increase the number of hotels booked through managed channels.
Tripbam is a hotel shopping tool that enables individuals, TMCs and corporates to shop across multiple hotels over several days to take advantage of rate changes. BCD Travel was named number four this year in BBT's Leading 50 TMCs.
“Hotel rates change constantly; it only makes sense that we secure lower rates for our travelers whenever they become available,” said BCD Travel senior VP of strategic marketing April Bridgeman.
“However, Tripbam’s offering does much more – by steering travelers toward preferred properties and chains and even toward lower-cost comparable properties, it can unlock meaningful savings opportunities," she added.
