Technology firm Amadeus is to be main sponsor of the Business Travel Show in 2013.
The partnership with Amadeus UK and Ireland includes sponsorship of the show’s conference programme, hosted buyer lounge and the hosted buyer after show party.
The Business Travel Show takes place on February 5-6 at London’s Earls Court exhibition centre. Buying Business Travel is the official media partner for the event.
As part of the deal, Amadeus will be working with the Business Travel Show to conduct research on the attitudes of business travellers, including their use of technology, with the results due to be unveiled during a keynote speech at the show.
Rob Sinclair-Barnes, director of marketing, Amadeus UK and Ireland, said: “The Business Travel Show is one of the key highlights on the calendar for the travel industry.
“Amadeus is better connected, not just in terms of breadth of travel content and seamless systems integration with key stakeholders, but we also want to help travel buyers connect with the latest trends and how travellers are using technology for business travel.”
Dave Chapple, event director of the Business Travel Show, added: “We are delighted to welcome Amadeus - a long term supporter of the Business Travel Show – as our main show sponsor for 2013.
“We believe Amadeus’s decision to take its support to a new level this year is testament to the success of the 2012 show and, in particular, the launch of our fully hosted buyer programme.”
