Corporate card provider Airplus has won an extended new contract with telecoms giant BT.
Airplus, which has been working with BT for six years, said it had secured a three-year renewal with the company which has 15,000 cards in circulation and transactions of more than £40 million per year.
Gaynor Martin, BT’s corporate card manager, said: “Airplus has adapted their card technologies and solutions to fit with our exact and complex requirements.
“With the help of Airplus, our card programme has grown from strength to strength - when it came down to it, we didn’t believe that another provider would be able to match up, and so we made the decision to stay with Airplus.”
BT originally selected Airplus to be its corporate card provider in 2008 and held a competitive RFP process with other card companies before deciding to stay with Airplus.
Airplus’ UK managing director Yael Klein (pictured) said: “We are always delighted to work in a collaborative way with our customers and we are very proud of what we have helped BT to accomplish during this time.
“We have great plans to continue to provide new and innovative solutions to meet BT’s changing requirements over the next three years.”
