UK firm Abingdon Software Group has acquired Romania-based travel technology specialist DCS Plus.
DCS Plus provides a range of technology products for travel management companies, congress organisers and the leisure travel industry. These include its NOVA corporate self-booking tool and the TINA mid-back-office platform.
The company is based in Bucharest and has been operating since 2002. Financial terms of the transaction have not been released.
Abingdon Software Group, which is headquartered in London, currently has a portfolio of tech platforms across multiple sectors, including cruise and hospitality, and ground and passenger handling systems for airports and airlines.

In a statement, the companies they would now “accelerate the deployment of Al” across DCS Plus’ platforms.
