Travel technology provider DRCT is launching NDC-enabled content from United Airlines for its clients.
The agreement will allow DRCT, which is an IATA-certified New Distribution Capability aggregator, to provide United’s fares and ancillaries to TMCs and online travel agents through its DRCT Extension, DRCT Search and DRCT API platforms.
Viktor Nekrylov, managing director at DRCT, said: “We are very excited to expand our partnership portfolio in the US with this integration.
“United Airlines is one of the biggest players in the industry and is highly valued for its extensive international reach. By expanding our market share, we continue to add leading airlines to our platform for the benefit of our customers, while increasing NDC adoption across the industry.”
DRCT said that within three months of starting work with German aviation giant Lufthansa Group it has shifted 68 per cent of agency ticket sales from the GDS to NDC channel.
The company did not immediately respond to a request by BTN regarding when the United content would become available through DRCT’s products.
