Keith Watson
Travel and expenses platform Roomex has appointed Keith Watson as president, who takes over from former CEO Garry Moroney.
The Dublin-based company has promoted Watson to his new role after spending the past six years as chief operating officer.
Before joining Roomex in 2019, Watson had held positions at HRS Group, eRevMax and Internet Retail Technologies Ltd.
“As we continue to develop our platform and offering, this feels like a really exciting moment for the business,” said Watson.
“In this new role, my focus will be on accelerating growth, deepening our presence in existing markets, opening up new ones where our customers operate, and working with our partners to scale the Roomex platform even faster across the region.”
Watson added that he was “honoured” to be building on Moroney’s “legacy”. Moroney leaves Roomex after six years at the helm.
Roomex is part of payments specialist Corpay, which was formerly known as FLEETCOR Technologies before rebranding in 2024. Roomex was acquired by the US company in 2022.
Ryan Guthrie, group president of lodging at Corpay, said: “As Roomex moves into its next phase of growth, we’re very pleased to have continuity in Keith’s leadership. He knows the business inside out, he knows our customers, and he has already played a central role in Roomex’s success to date.
“We’re extremely grateful to Garry for the leadership and entrepreneurial drive he has brought to Roomex for more than six years. Under his guidance, the company has scaled, broadened its product set, and built strong, trusted relationships with customers across the UK and Europe.”
