Valentin Naidja
Ground transport app Free Now has appointed Valentin Naidja as vice president of sales as the company goes through a period of major expansion.
The Germany-based mobility specialist, which is now operating in 170 cities in 10 European countries, has recruited Naidja to lead its sales, customer success and marketing teams, as well as developing the strategy for Free Now’s B2B suite of products.
Naidja previously worked for Luxembourg start-up TalkWalker and most recently held the role of chief revenue officer for Berlin-based firm Customer Alliance.
“Ground transport is the last bastion of corporate travel to be truly disrupted – to become more consumer-centric, diverse and forward-thinking - and this is what Free Now for Business does so successfully,” said Naidja.
“We’ve shaken up the market to create a service that travellers and travel managers genuinely want and need. Our Mobility Super App now includes solutions for business and client travel with more to follow.”
Free Now is backed by German car giants BMW Group and Mercedes-Benz Mobility. The company, led by CEO Thomas Zimmermann, currently has around 2,000 employees in more than 26 offices.
The company plans to continue expanding across Europe and will also roll out its employee benefit product in 2023.
