Startup travel management company TakeTwo Travel Solutions has joined UK-based corporate travel consortium Focus Travel Partnership.
TakeTwo, which was set up by the former CTM duo Chris Thelen and Julie Cope in 2021, is already a member of global TMC network Globalstar with Thelen also being on its board of directors.
Focus Travel Partnership, which was ranked by BTN Europe as the sixth largest TMC network or consortia in Europe in 2022, will now have 52 TMC partners following TakeTwo’s move.
Thelen, who is TakeTwo’s CEO, said: “Focus Travel’s impressive airfare programme will give us access to even greater content to provide to our clients. The consortium’s other partner programmes and steering groups will give us opportunities to share insights, innovation and best practice.”
TakeTwo, which has offices in the UK, Europe and North America, also specialises in providing VIP travel services, MICE and group travel. The TMC also acquired UK-based Eton Travel Group in 2022 to help fuel its growth.
Abby Penston, CEO of the Focus Travel Partnership, added: “TakeTwo is an exciting, forward-thinking TMC who will complement our partnership and will greatly assist us with innovation.”
