Start-up booking platform Spotnana has joined London-based TMC network Focus Travel Partnership.
New York-based Spotnana, which secured $75 million in new funding last week, will use its membership of Focus to grow its presence in the UK as part of its wider expansion plans.
Bill Brindle, Spotnana’s vice president of travel operations, said: “We’re excited about the value this will bring to our travel-as-a-service platform and our clients.
“With the ever-changing landscape of the travel industry, it's important for us to work with partners who recognise that technology and service evolve jointly, not independently, paving the way for a new generation of personalised travel experiences.”
Focus Travel Partnership has 50 TMC members with a collective annual turnover of £1 billion. Focus ranked as the sixth largest TMC network in BTN Europe’s list of the leading European networks in 2022.
Abby Penston, CEO of the Focus Travel Partnership, added: “Bill and his team straight away saw the benefit in joining Focus. They are a forward-thinking TMC who have seen investment from major players when travel has been hardest hit.”
Spotnana is led by CEO Sarosh Waghmar and a team of experienced corporate travel executives. It also featured among the companies to watch on BTN Europe’s 2022 Hotlist.
