Risk management platform Safeture has partnered with UK-based security and intelligence firm Global Protect Risk to bolster travel risk management services for clients.
The move combines Sweden-based Safeture’s risk intelligence, mass communication and traveller tracking functionalities with Global Protect Risk’s ‘on-the-ground advisory’ and operational capabilities, the companies said. The latter is specialised in converged security (physical security systems and IT infrastructure protection), real-time threat intelligence and protective operations.
“This [partnership] creates a comprehensive solution that supports organisations throughout the travel lifecycle, from planning and monitoring through incident response and recovery,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The collaboration will initially focus on “integrated demonstrations” for existing clients of Global Protect Risk, while joint go-to-market activities are planned throughout the year, the companies said, to “strengthen risk management capabilities for current and future customers worldwide”.
Safeture CEO Magnus Hultman said: Partnering with Global Protect Risk advances our mission to deliver proactive, real-time safety and security intelligence to organisations worldwide. Their deep operational expertise perfectly complements our technology platform, and we already see strong interest from their clients eager to experience Safeture.”
Global Protect Risk managing director Matt McGinn added: “Safeture’s platform enhances our capabilities, giving clients unmatched visibility and control over their travel risk environments.”
Safeture’s technology platform is used by travel management companies such as BCD Travel and JTB Business Travel, as well as Sweden’s Arrive Agencies and UK TMCs DialAFlight Corporate Travel, Selective Travel Management, Sunways Business Travel, Beyond Business Travel and Review Travel.
