Travel risk specialist Riskline has launched a new platform, TravelPrep, to provide business travellers with an update on security risks and recent developments at their destination.
Riskline unveiled TravelPrep at Business Travel Show Europe in London on Wednesday (29 June). The platform aims to keep corporate travellers “briefed at all times on any potential risks” that could interfere with their trip.
TravelPrep provides travel safety information to subscribers by email before their trip, with pre-advisory messages detailing “risk alerts” sent to travellers two weeks and 48 hours before their departure.
The alerts will cover a range of areas such as road accidents, disease outbreaks, natural disasters, conflict and crime.
Emanuele Scansani, director of partnerships and strategic relations at Riskline, said: “In an ever-changing and precarious environment for travel, TravelPrep will ensure that individuals are briefed and equipped with the knowledge of any and all risks that could jeopardise the safety of their trip.
“This new subscription is aligned to our mission to keep travellers informed and updated, and to ensure they are prepared so they can have safe travel experiences.”
Riskline added that TravelPrep used intelligence tools to generate updates which are then verified by its staff before being passed on to travellers.
