UK train booking specialist Evolvi Rail Systems has launched European rail content through its API connection.
Evolvi, which is part of Portman Travel Group and used by some 130 TMCs, is now offering content from major train operators, including Eurostar and French rail operator SNCF. Evolvi revealed that it was working on this development in early 2025.
The company said that international rail has been integrated into its existing API message structure, with travellers who use TMC booking tools receiving electronic tickets directly into their email inboxes.
“This launch represents a major step forward in our mission to simplify rail booking for corporate travel,” said Darren Williams, managing director of Evolvi. “By integrating international rail into our API, we’re empowering our partners to deliver a truly pan-European travel experience.”
Evolvi added that the initiative allows TMCs to offer international rail bookings without having to agree their own direct contracts with European operators. The company plans to add more international train operators in the “very near future”.
The move comes after Evolvi recently introduced new seat map functionality giving users the ability to view and select specific seats at the time of booking.
