Nigerian corporate travel agency St. Clare Travel, headquartered in Lagos, has joined the Uniglobe network. The partnership globalizes St. Clare's offerings and gives Uniglobe a foothold in Nigeria. Uniglobe last had a member in Nigeria in 2013, according to a spokesperson. It also has agencies in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa. Uniglobe founder and CEO Gary Charlwood said, "Africa holds some of the world's fastest-growing economies and offers growth opportunities for entrepreneurs in business travel." St. Clare is International Air Transport Association-accredited and works with all major Nigerian airlines, giving Uniglobe access to those airlines' fares. The Vancouver-based Uniglobe also has added agencies in Canada, Scotland, Mexico, Oman, the UAE and France and plans to announce specifics on those soon. According to Uniglobe, the network reaches more than 60 countries and its systemwide sales top $5 billion annually.
