Ride-hailing platforms Lyft and Southeast Asia-based Grab are integrating services so users of one have access to the other. Grab users can hail cars in the United States where Lyft has service as of June 1, and Lyft users will be able to use their apps in Southeast Asia "in the coming weeks," according to Grab. The integration is the first to go live in a strategic partnership signed last year between Lyft, Grab, India-based Ola and China-based Didi Chuxing.
