EASYJET is to expand its Dortmund base, with daily services to Budapest and Prague. Dortmund, in the Ruhr valley, is easyJet”s second largest base in Germany after Berlin, with three aircraft operating eight routes: Alicante, Luton, Nice, Palma (Majorca), Paris (CDG) and Rome. The Prague and Budapest services commence on 16 September. The airline says its expansion into Germany and Eastern Europe is proving popular with consumers. This summer, easyJet will be operating 24 routes from Germany. In total, easyJet now offers a choice of 148 routes to 41 cities throughout Europe.
