BMI is to introduce direct flights from Manchester to Toronto on 25 April, flown in co-operation with Air Canada. The service will initially operate four times a week, increasing to daily from 27 May for the peak of the summer season. BMI will introduce a third Airbus A330 for the route (the other two used on Manchester ” Chicago and Manchester ” Washington services) offering a three cabin layout ” business, premium economy and economy. The airline is now the largest North Atlantic operator out of Manchester.
