ADELAIDE AIRPORT”S new state of the art terminal is due to open next week, but don”t hold your breath. There have been nine dates named since Australian prime minister John Howard officially cut the ribbon last October. The delays stem from problems with the aircraft re-fuelling systems which were found to be contaminated just before the big day. Situated just four miles from the centre of the city the current Adelaide Airport arrangement covers three buildings. The new two-storey structure integrates both domestic and international operations.
