Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has introduced a new cabin bag policy that allows all passengers to travel with one piece of bigger hand luggage free of charge.
The airline says passengers will automatically be entitled to carry one piece of hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 55x40x23cm and a maximum weight of 10kg included as part of their ticket price. Customers will also be able to bring onboard items they have purchased in the duty free area after airport security.
Wizz has also added the Wizz Priority service, which allows passengers to bring an additional small bag to place under the seat with maximum dimensions of 40x30x18cm. This ensures they can carry both pieces of luggage into the cabin with them. The airline says the service also entitles passengers to skip the queue at boarding and be among the first to get on the aircraft.
