Wizz Air is extending its Wizz Class service across its entire network following a recent trial on select routes, where “uptake exceeded expectations”.
Aimed at business travellers, the optional service allows travellers to reserve an adjacent middle seat and comes with a complimentary in-flight non-alcoholic drink and snack, according to the budget carrier.
The new service is available as an add-on within the booking flow to Smart and Plus bundle purchases, which already include priority boarding with 10kg carry-on baggage.
The service was introduced in January on select flights to Budapest, Bucharest Otopeni, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick and Rome Fiumicino. It will now be progressively rolled out across the carrier’s network.
“After testing Wizz Class at six of our bases and receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, it became clear that passengers – especially business travellers – value the extra comfort and space this service provides,” said Silvia Mosquera, commercial officer at Wizz Air.
