EUROMANX, whose name is the giveaway for its home base, has been acquired by Warren Seymour and a group of UK private investors. Australian born Mr Seymour is CEO of Club 328, the Southampton-based executive jet operator which under its own AOC operates not only business charter flights but services for Club Airways, the Swiss-based corporate airline. With its new ownership Euromanx has acquired a pair of Avro RJ70 jets and will take over the FlyBe Isle of Man ” London City route, effective 10 January 2005. The airline will also introduce services from IOM to Southampton early next year and develop connections to the wide range of European leisure routes available at the south coast airport. EuroManx says it will be introducing additional turboprop aircraft initially to serve existing routes to Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin from the IoM. These aircraft will also be used to operate flights to Belfast City Airport. In addition, the Avro RJs will be able to provide flights at peak times on EuroManx popular Liverpool ” IoM route.
