NEW YORK has gained a sixth daily Virgin Atlantic flight from London. During the summer it will be daylight each way departing Heathrow at 1800 and arrive into JFK at 2100. For the return it leaves Kennedy 0730 and arrive back into London 1910 the same day. This service will operate using an Airbus 340-600 aircraft and will be configured with 45 Upper Class seats, 28 Premium Economy and 223 in economy. On any given day there are now 28 non-stop flights from London to New York, 24 from Heathrow, two (Continental) from Gatwick into Newark and two (Eos and Maxjet) from Stansted to JFK. Air India and Kuwait Airways also operate to New York from LHR, but not daily.
