VIRGIN BLUE, now owned by Australia's Patrick Corporation, is to cut two Northern Territory routes said to be unprofitable. From 4 September Adelaide to Alice Springs and Sydney and Darwin are dropped. The airline continues to serve Darwin from both Brisbane (daily) and Melbourne (three times per week).
