VIRGIN BLUE has inaugurated non-stop flights between Brisbane and Hobart and becomes the only airline to offer direct services between Queensland and Tasmania.
The daily 2 hour 40 minute flight was operated by one of Virgin Blue's 144-seat brand new Next Generation 737-700 aircraft.
The new route will take the number of flights in and out of Hobart to four a day, complimenting the existing three daily direct services from Hobart to Melbourne with convenient connections throughout Australia.
