VIRGIN ATLANTIC Airways has confirmed Monday 27 March 2006, as the start up date for its new Heathrow ” Dubai service. The direct flights will initially operate four days a week, increasing to five days a week from 1 May and daily from 1 June. Flights will be by an Airbus A340 and will bring added competition to a route already served by British Airways, Emirates and Royal Brunei. 2006 looks like being another busy year for VS with Montego Bay (Jamaica) already announced for July.
