VIETNAM AIRWAYS is in a positive frame of mind to introduce services from London to Hanoi for the winter season 2005. The carrier, who took space on the National stand at WTM last week, in fact dates back to 1956 and has a modern fleet including ER version of both the Boeing 767 and Boeing 777. The airline is a lead customer for the Boeing 7E7. Currently Vietnam Airways only European destination is Paris from which it has non-stop flights from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City (formerly Saigon).
